Youth Sports

The City of Evans offers sports year round for children from age 3 up to 8th grade.

3-5 Year Old Sports Class

The City of Evans offers kids the ages of 3 – 5 the chance to participate in a sports class that will help prepare them for playing youth sports. Our first class is Tiny Tots Sports, which is for 3 and 4 year olds. In this class, 3 different sports are covered with the emphasis on learning the fundamental skills of each of these sports. The class will be made into stations that the kids will go through to learn these skills. This is a parent involvement class, so it is a good opportunity for the parents to spend some quality time with their child. Our 4-5 year old class is to be sports specific to the season. In this class, fundamental skills of the sport are still being built, game play is added into the class so that the children are more prepared for the next step of playing on a youth sports team. This class will be formatted with stations for the first half of the class and a game in the second half of the class. Also, this class is parent involvement.
