2.23.020 Parks and Recreation Director--Responsibilities.
2.23.010 Department of parks and recreation established--Director. There is established the department of parks and recreation, the director of which shall be the parks and recreation director. The parks and recreation director shall be appointed by and shall be under the supervision of the city manager. In the absence of a parks and recreation director, the city manager may appoint an acting parks and recreation director. (Ord. 1124-98: 763-90)
2.23.020 Parks and Recreation director--Responsibilities. The parks and recreation director shall be responsible for maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the community complex, the museum, parks, and the cemetery, and shall also be in charge of and the senior citizen's programs and city insurance programs. He shall also be responsible for the care and custody of the property used by the department. The director shall further have those duties and responsibilities as may from time to time be given him by ordinance or by the city manager. (Ord. 1124-98: 763-90)
