This park features a 7-acre fishing lake, over two miles of scenic trails, fishing docks, four ball fields (two lighted and two unlighted), a spacious playground area, two picnic pavilions, basketball courts, soccer fields, restrooms and many acres of undeveloped open space along the South Platte River. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the athletic fields.
The large pavilion is the newest addition to the 100+ acre Riverside Park. Restroom facilities are located adjacent to the pavilion . The park has a large playground, basketball courts, softball fields, and soccer fields. There is also plenty of parking!
There is a also a shade structure and picnic facility next to Riverside Park Lake on the south side of Riverside Park. This pavilion is located near the 42nd Street entrance to the park. It can not be reserved but is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
