The City of Evans has incorporated a Natural Resource Management "no mow" philosophy for certain areas within the City that are planned native grass landscapes, designated open space, detention pond facilities, and undeveloped future parks. These "no mow" areas are to be managed for the growth of native grass species, not for the propagation of weeds. Weeds will continue to be maintained and eradicated wherever feasible by mechanical, chemical and natural means.
