The City of Evans has adopted an approved landscape planting list for tree and shrubs within the City limits. These species have been approved as types and varieties that groom well in the Evans area. Additionally, only these species will be allowed to be planted in City right-of-way areas (i.e. parkways) if indicated as an appropriate street tree. If improper trees and/or shrubs are planted in the parkways, the resident may be requested to remove the plant.
