2.20.010 Utilities department established Director. There is established the department of utilities, the director of which shall be the utility director. The utility director shall be appointed by and shall be under the supervision of the city manager. In the absence of a utility director, the city manager may appoint an acting utility director. 2.20.020 Utility director Responsibilities. The utility director shall be responsible for operation and maintenance of the water and sewer systems of the city. The director shall be responsible for the care and custody of the property used by the department. The director shall further have those duties and responsibilities as may from time to time be given him by ordinance or by the city manager. (Ord. 614-85)
2.20.030 Public works and planning director--May be same. The same persons may be the director or acting director of the public works and planning department and the utilities department. (Ord. 762-90: Ord 614-85)
