I am very honored to have been elected by the citizens of Ward 1 to represent them on City Council and the great trust given by my fellow Councilmembers to serve the City as Mayor Pro Tem for Evans. As a Ward 1 Representative and the Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Evans, I am dedicated to the betterment of our local government process. Over the past recent years the City of Evans has made leaps and bounds in recreating the way a City operates. Our staff, Mayor and all of City Council have worked diligently to ensure that all parts of our operations run transparently, efficiently and effectively. I am very proud to be apart of this now and moving forward into Evans’ future.
My tenure with the City of Evans has included nearly 4 years on the Planning & Zoning Commission serving as a Commissioner, Vice Chairman and Chairman. I was then appointed to City Council to fill a vacancy in Ward 1, re-elected to this position and then elected by my peers to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem. My professional experiences include over 20 years in business management as well managing non profit organizations.
My most valued experiences however come from being a father and a husband. Our family has lived in the area since 1992 and in Evans since 1996. Without the support of my kids and my wife along with their faith in me and God I could never have achieved the accomplishments I have thus far. It is my greatest pleasure to serve my family, the citizens of Evans and God in everything I do to the best of my abilities.
