The Centennial State Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, has spent the several years photographing headstones throughout Weld County, with the goal of making them available on-line to researchers. Many genealogists and historians travel thousands of miles to find engravings on headstones to help in their research. As retirement years lend themselves better to these pursuits, it follows that many of these researchers and historians are older in years. Traveling to accomplish this can be a hardship.
