Animal Control

The Neighborhood Services Division is in charge of animal control for the City of Evans. 

Evans residents are permitted a total of 4 animals living in a home.  All dogs and cats are required to be vaccinated and licensed within the City of Evans.  Licenses can be purchased from the City Municipal Complex with a copy of the pet(s) current rabies vaccination records and a minimal fee.  Chickens are allowed in the City of Evans but do count toward the total number of animals you can have at a residence. 

To report a nuisance animal, vicious animal, or a dog running at large in the City of Evans please call, (970) 356-1212 ext. 4.

If you have lost a dog or cat please check with the Weld County Humane Society at 1620 42 Street, Evans, CO 80620.
